Marino Engineering Associates (MEA) is a small but growing geotechnical engineering company that has been in business for 44 years. Much of the company's work involves advanced engineering areas through a wide range of geotechnical projects. Our expertise also includes mine geomechanics and advanced subsidence engineering in karst and mining. In order to meet the growth needs of the company, MEA is looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer with a mining background. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about geotechnical engineering, has an entrepreneurial mindset, and has leadership experience in supervising teams or departments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in forensic investigations with litigation proceedings
  • Geotechnical engineering design experience
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with extensive time in working on abandoned and active underground mines.
  • Master's degree in geotechnical (civil) engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
